In the Red Films and Yellow & Dangerous Productions recently teamed up to shoot a short film, "Engage Fail". We screened at Portland's monthly DIY cinema event, Suck My Flick and took home the coveted first prize! Check out the shine off that gold spray paint!

Although we didn't make it in the Best Of group this year, we had a blast on this project. We're excited to for our next film adventure!

In the Red Films is gearing up for an appearance at the 2010 Portland 48 Hour Film Festival! Click on the logo below to learn all about it. Last year we won the Portland Best Use of Genre award for "Third Shift" (genre: film de femme)!

Summary:
The 48 Hour Film Project is a wild and sleepless weekend in which you and a team make a movie—write, shoot, edit and score it—in just 48 hours.

On Friday night, you get a character, a prop, a line of dialogue and a genre, all to include in your movie. 48 hours later, the movie must be complete. Then it will show at a local theater, usually in the next week.

In 2009, nearly 40,000 filmmakers made 3,000 films in in 76 cities. This year, we're even bigger, with filmmakers around the world taking the challenge to make a film in just 48 hours.
